2014 we came up with the concept to bring healthy Japanese fast food to Hawaii and to the world. We wanted to provide an affordable, quick and easy option that is healthy and nourishes your body. We fell in love with Hawaii and it’s powerful energy (or Mana), that is found within local ingredients. Our goal is to spread Aloha and a healthy lifestyle through our food!
The Up Roll concept started with SUSHI BURRITO which is Japanese fast food. With the sushi burrito we’re able to add our asian twist to provide all of the flavors in our bowls into an easy to hold burrito. Add your choice of toppings and our house made sauces and dressings, we came up with our slogan “This is How We Roll” a play on the rolled sushi burrito, and how we do things at Up Roll Cafe!
